MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA) is open to plaintiff attorneys and paralegals.  Membership is not open to attorneys and paralegals who do any defense work or whose firm does defense work.

Attorney Membership:  $395/annually
Available to any plaintiff only attorney

Advocate Attorney Membership:  Basic attorney membership fee of $395 plus $495 testing/assessment fee
Advocate Members have a documented basic knowledge of trucking litigation.  This level of knowledge and experience should ascertain that a lawyer is capable of handling the basics of a trucking case, providing adequate representation for their client.  After completing the basic attorney membership, you will have the opportunity to continue with Advocate membership by downloading and completing the Advocate Assessment.  A $495 testing/assessment fee will be due when you submit your assessment for review.  You will then be notified via email of the outcome of your Advocate application.

Paralegal Membership (if an attorney in the paralegal’s firm is also a member):  $175/annually

Paralegal Membership (if no attorney in the paralegal’s firm is a member):  $225/annually

If for any reason you cannot afford the annual membership fee, you may submit a request for a partial scholarship to Lori Tepper, Executive Director at Lori@TruckLawAcademy.org.
